Building Confidence through Cooking, Connecting and Creating.

At Kids in the Kitchen, our mission is to inspire and empower children through engaging, hands-on cooking and baking experiences that build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and essential life skills.
We partner with schools and school districts to deliver high-quality after-school enrichment programs that blend STEM learning, social-emotional development (SEL), and practical kitchen skills in a fun, age-appropriate environment. Through guided exploration and collaborative challenges, students develop independence, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong appreciation for learning.
To support broader access and long-term impact, Kids in the Kitchen offers a District Licensing Program, allowing school districts to implement our curriculum across multiple schools using a flexible, school-selected pacing model. Our licensing model provides districts with a scalable, consistent framework while giving individual schools the autonomy to adapt the program year to year.
By combining education with play, Kids in the Kitchen fosters curiosity, nurtures emerging culinary talents, and brings families and school communities together—one delicious recipe at a time.

Start by contacting your school administration to see if they have interest in our cooking program. If yes, please fill out one of our contact forms and we’ll reach out with more information.
No problem! We can supply our own ovens to accommodate your school. We do request to have a sink so we can keep our area clean and neat.
We work directly with the school for payment. It would be up to them to decide if it’s a school offered and paid program or if the parents pay.

Although we don’t use any nut products in our recipes, we are not a nut or dairy free program.
We work with each school individually to accommodate their after school schedule.
Our program is usually the most popular at each school we partner with. Our class size is no more than 24 students and not less than 10 (we’ve never had to worry about that!). With no more than 4 teams.
